- Attractions such as Maine Audubon's Boarstone Mountain Preserve, Peaks Kenney State Park, Gulf Hagus or the Appalachian Trail are all within a short distance of the Lodge.
- Bird watching, gathering wild blueberries and wildflowers, swimming, boating and soaking up the scenic lakefront are just some of the restful activities you can enjoy in summer.

- In the fall, go moosewatching or leafpeeping; Maine does have the best of foliage country.
